St. Elizabeth’s School, Anjar is a Co-educational institution run by the Catholic Christen Minority Community. It is managed by the Reverend Fathers of the Congregation of known as Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) through a registered body, Kutch Seva Trust. The school is affiliated to the GSEB Gandhinagar. The Dev Priya Sisters of Rajkot Diocese also is rendering their committed service to the institution.
We, the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate, after the example of our founder Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, consider education the integral formation of human person for the fulfilment of his/her individual and social responsibilities.
We aspire towards creating a just and human society where dignity of the human person is respected, where unjust social structures are challenged, where our cultural heritage, religious harmony and national integration is upheld and where the poor and the marginalized are specially taken care of.
St. Elizabeth’s School, Anjar is primarily meant to provide Catholic christen students with sound education based on religious and moral values, and it is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community, paying due respect to their religious feelings and freedom of conscience. It promotes religious tolerance and communal harmony.
